Social Justice

We regularly provide support for certain Topeka organizations and for our own activities including:

    • UUFT participates at Harvesters each month on the 1st Saturday between 9 a.m. and noon. This is a great activity to share with your child.  We accept volunteers who are at least 8 years old.  We ask that grade school/ middle school kids be accompanied by an adult.     • The UUFT maintains a publicly available supply of non-perishable food and personal hygiene items for those who need them. Congregational members may contribute items or money to support this effort.
  • Bi-monthly Peace Rally – Contact Bill Lucero lucerolb@cox.net
    • rally for peace at 10th and Gage every other month on specific dates to be announced

    • Fair Trade coffee, tea, chocolate bars, olive oil and more!
    • help producers in developing countries achieve sustainable and equitable trade relationships.
    • profits support Social Justice projects
    • Held monthly on 2nd Sunday, 10 am-12 noon, in the Gathering Space
